New World Private Equity aims to make equity investments where the total funding required is between £2.5m and £20m. 

We are interested in providing financial backing for the following types of transactions:

•   Management buy-outs and buy-ins (MBOs and MBIs)
•   Growth capital deals
•   Replacement capital

The key characteristics that we look for in potential investments are:

•   Management teams - we look for quality management teams with a strong track record, a well formulated strategy and the ambition to grow their company
•   Business model – established and proven concept
•   Brand – ideally has a recognised brand name that can be leveraged or the potential to develop a brand
•   Gross Margin – sufficient existing or potential gross margin to allow investment in the brand
•   Customers – sales not concentrated in one or two major customers
•   Positive EBITDA with stable cash flows
•   Potential for significant EBITDA growth over the investment period – capable of at least doubling profits in 3-5 years
